I was able to sneak out of camp for a few hours on Wednesday thanks to Mr. Rice coming to camp for the day. While I was at home, I wanted to post some of the photos from the week so far. We will have many more photos to see that should be posted by next weekend. Remember that it takes a minute or two for the slide show to start (it has to download the thumbnail images) and there is a bug in this version of the Slide Show (Sorry). This is the skit the scouts performed at Wednesday campfire. The two young ladies that assist them are Olivia and Claire, our troop guides on staff. The audio is a little hard to hear, but you should be able to get the jist of the skit. They had a great time performing it and the audience realy enjoyed it.

This is a slideshow video from Summer Camp 2006. It was originally made for Court of Honor that year. The slideshow is set to the tunes "In the Summer Time" by Mungo Jerry and "Time Of Your Life" by Green Day. There is a Low Quality, Medium Quality and High Quality version available to view.

Here are three videos from Camp Rainey Mt. in 2007. The first video is of the Staff Procession. Every morning they would process to the parade field in this manner (very impressive). The other two videos are from the day after the Wilderness Survival Overnighter!! Pay close attention in video #2, and you'll see a cameo appearence by SM Mike in the background.

Here are two videos form Summer Camp 2008 at Skymont. The first video is a camp mail video. It's a way to keep in touch with the folks back at home. We'll be doing camp mail this year from Summer Camp also. of pics from camp. Unfortunately, there is no audio with the slideshow.
