Eagle Scout Honor Patrol

In Honor of our Scouts that have achieved the rank of Eagle Scout

This page is dedicated to the young men who have achieved the ultimate goal in the Boy Scouts of America. That is to obtain the rank of Eagle Scout. We salute these young men and dedicate this page to comemorate their journey on the path to Eagle Scout with Troop 477.

There is also a space at the bottom of the page with links to our current Eagle Scout candidates and their progress on their way to achieving the Eagle Scout rank.

2005 Jason Shah

Jason Shah earned the distinguished honor to be Troop 477's first Eagle Scout. Jason came to our troop in 2005. He had already attained Life Rank and he looked to our troop to help him to continue his journey and attain the rank of Eagle. Jason's project was a landscaping project for the City of Port Orange Recreation Center on US1. Since achieving his Eagle Scout rank, Jason founded I need a pencil online SAT Prep service for high school students. He has since graduated from high school and now attends Harvord University.

2008 Scott Cline

Scott Cline came to our Troop in 2007 from New York. He came to us as a Life Scout and only needed to finish his Eagle Project to earn his Eagle Rank. Scott's Eagle project took him to the All Children's Park in Port Orange where he had a crew of Scouts build and install 5 Bat Houses. The bat houses are intended to build up the local bat populations which help to curb the mosquito infestations.

2008 Tyler Braniff

Tyler Braniff is one of our original Scouts that joined Troop 477 when it began in 2004. Tyler is the first Scout to earn his Eagle Rank as an original member of Troop 477. Tyler's project was to landscape the rear parking lot area at Covenant United Methodist Church. Since earning his Eagle, Tyler keeps busy working and attending school. Tyler is pursuing a career in Computer Technology with an emphasis on Cumputer Graphics and Game systems.
