Summer Camp at Woodruff 2010 - Daily updates

Thursday Greetings from Camp Woodruff!! One more day of Camp and then we're coming home (Yay!!). Well, this will probably be the last update before we come home. The internet connection here is extremely slow and it takes too long to upload images to the server. But, I hope you will enjoy the latest update (see above) and note the new photos added to your scout's individual group. If you would like to see the other photos that have been uploaded this week, you can click here to go to the multimedia page. I may try to upload a few photos one more time Friday before end of camp, but it isn't likely.

White Water Update!!

The Whitewater Photos are now availble to view. Click on the links below to view the different photo sets. We had scouts in four differnt rafts. Some of the rafts had more photos shot than others but there are at least 2 for each raft. Raft 4 had some good action photos. Enjoy!!

Hey!! Happy Birthday Kyle!!

Kyle Multop had his birthday at camp yesterday! Unfortunately, we were so busy with checkin that we didn't have a chance to do anything for him. So, we are having birthday cupcakes in camp this evening. Please join us in wishing Kyle a Very Happy Birthday!!

Birthday Update!!

The scouts had cupcakes and celebrated Kyle's birthday in camp last evening. This morning, Kyle was pulled from the troop ranks and had to stand in front of camp with two other scouts while staff sang a very interesting rendition of Happy Birthday! Kyle's face was red, but he loved it!

What a surprise!!

We were surprised and honored to have our previous Scoutmaster Mike Willems pop in on us today out of the blue. He was in the area visiting an old friend who earned his Eagle Scout award along with Mike. The two of them spent the day with their 94 year old Scoutmaster and Mike decided to pop in for a visit on his way back to Port Orange. Thanks for the visit Mike!

From Summer Camp, we hope all are well.
